The winter shelter season ended on April 30th.  We would like to offer breakfast to our clients during the months of May through September, when we provide access to services but do not have emergency overnight shelter.  If you would like to donate breakfast items (muffins, hard-boiled eggs, milk Chugs, string cheese or other individually portioned cheese, granola bars, single-serving cereals, disposable bowls and spoons) or to find out about our needs before you plan an in-kind donation drive, please call Lynn (847) 689-4357 x121.

Meal Program

The PADS meal program serves the homeless of Lake County.  Recently many clients have been coming in hungry in the morning in need of breakfast; some of them did not have dinner the night before.  While our original plan was to provide lunches all summer for the people we serve, we now find that we are also in need of breakfast items.  Dry cereal, milk and juice are in short supply and desperately needed.  We already receive donations of pastries once a week that covers our needs, so that kind of thing is taken care of.  If you can help us with our meal program, please call Lynn to schedule a date.  Our lunch schedule still has a few openings in it as well.

Vacuum Cleaners Needed
